At Seekora, we’re proud to be a queer-owned business, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive space where everyone feels seen and celebrated. This month, we’re diving into some of my favourite queer romance stories, showcasing a variety of genres from contemporary to paranormal. These stories highlight the beauty of love in all its forms, that love is love, no matter who it’s between. 🌈
Of course all romance stories are fiction, but in a contemporary setting the real world is recognisable to most of us.
If you like your book with a bit of angst and sweetness, Ed Davies' Sunshine Island Brothers series is a small town MM romance. Book 1, Collide (on Amazon), is a hockey player with best friend's brother secret romance. Read to find out how they finally get their Happily Ever After.
If you prefer your romance to be a little bit more risqué, Melissa Tereze's Study You (on Amazon) is a forbidden romance, age-gap FF romance. This taboo romance between professor and student is seriously too hot to handle.
If you prefer more fantasy or paranormal settings, something that is my preferred genre of romance, I have some amazing books to recommend.
If you are more into the paranormal sphere, how about a wolfshifter and half-vampire MM romance by Vin George. Fang'd (on Amazon)is the first book of the evergreen Council series and is about Charley and stubborn wolfshifter Luc who is determined to protect him.
What could go wrong if DNA is used to find your soul match? Find out in the amazing sci-fi SoulMatch (on Amazon) by Nicole Pyland. This FF high-angst dystopian romance is a great read and pretty thought-provoking.
At Seekora queer is trans and non-binary inclusive and we have labels that authors can add to their books so readers can search on those terms.
The next book is about a combination of single dad, second chance and small town tropes. Jay Northcote's Second Chance (on Amazon) is the story of Nate, formerly Nat, who is returning to his home town with his daughter and reconnects with a childhood friend Jack. This is an amazing heartfelt story of discovery and love.
The next book is a standalone in a series, The Weirdwater Confluence is an amazing interconnected series by Dani Finn. In The World Within (on Amazon) tells the story of Lila who has everything, or has she? Single mom delivery driver Avisse sparks an interest and with everything going on, will she have her happy ever after?
There are several labels in Seekora for authors to add to their books, from the different indicators of MM and FF to queer.
There are many more books I have read and that are on my TBR that I would love to recommend. I will come back on this blog with more. Anyways Love is Love and we will always be inclusive. 🏳️🌈
